Losing Streak

The Lakers have been on a losing streak lately. The Lakers have not been playing very well and hopefully will start playing better since the playoffs start on Sunday. On Wednesday, they played the struggling the Golden Gate Warriors. This game the Lakers look like a highschool basketball team. They ended up losing 97-85. Kobe Bryant really struggled this game and couldn't get the Lakers on a role to get the win. The loss brings the Lakers record to a 55-23.

Friday the Lakers traveled to Portland to take on the struggling Trailblazers. Yet again the Lakers looked very sluggish and did not play good at all. Kobe came out looking like the old Kobe, but it wasn't enough to get the win. Kobe had 23 points. Kobe recently got a $100,000 fine, for making a homophobic comment.

The Lakers had no trouble taking care of the Mavs. Kobe lead the Lakers with 28 points. Even tho Kobe isn't in the race for the leagues MVP, he still is one of the best in the league. The Lakers played cross town rival the Clippers on Friday night. The Clippers are a pretty decent team this year with the outstanding Rookie Blake Griffin. Lakers 3-1 on the Road

The Lakers had a tough road schedule last week and still had a very good week. On Tuesday, they traveled down to Atlanta to play the Hawks. They had no trouble during this game. Blasting the Hawks a 101-87 win. Kobe was the leading scorer with 26 points yet again. During the game the Lakers looked almost unbeatable. There next game was going to be a hard game for them. They had to go down and play the Heat. The Heat at the beginning of the year got the "trader" of the NBA, when LeBron signed a deal with the Heat, they started to actually win games. The following game was going to be a tough one for them.

On Thursday, the Lakers traveled down to Miami to take on the Heat. The Lakers came out very sluggish and ended up losing the game 94-88. Even tho the Lakers lost, Kobe yet again had a great game. Kobe ended the game with 24 points. Kobe by far looked like the best play to ever play in the NBA. The Lakers will have a tough end of the year schedule, but no matter what they will be in the playoff and in the hunt for another NBA title.
