Ruff Week for the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers had a ruff week. On Tuesday they traveled to play the struggling Utah Jazz. The Lakers ended up blowing them out of the water with a 120-91 win. The looked unstoppable during this game. Kobe Bryant had yet another unbelievable game scoring 21 points. Andrew Bynum was a force down low picking up 11 rebounds. With this win the Lakers record improved to 33-13.

The Lakers then traveled to Sacramento for a Friday night showdown. They ended up losing a close game losing only by 5 points. The final score was 100-95. Kobe played a great game but couldn't get his team to rally behind him for the win. Kobe lead another game with the most points scoring 35 of the team points. The Lakers were hoping they could forget the loss and travel to Boston to play there rivals on Sunday night. The Celtics were ready to play coming out and beating the Lakers 109-96. Kobe had a good game but didn't get his team involved enough for the win. Kobe shot over 40% of the Lakers shot. Kobe ended the game with 41 point. This loss brings the Lakers record to 33-15. The Lakers still hold a lead in the conference standings.

  1. It sounds like they did have a rough week. I didnt catch the Lakers and Sacramento game but I bet it was pretty good because of how close it was.

  2. The Sacramento game was a really fun game to watch and i dont like the Lakers so i didnt have a problem with them losing.

  4. How did the team go from 33-13 to 33-15? Did they play another game you didn't mention? Overall, though, they still have a great record.
